Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde is a creative thinker and maker of social designs which explore the relation between people, technology and space.
Daan’s fascinations for nature and technology is reflected in his iconic designs such as Dune, Van Gogh Path and Waterlicht as landscapes of the future. After his fine art study, Daan finished The Berlage Institute master in architecture.
He founded Studio Roosegaarde in 2007, where he works with his team of designers and engineers towards a better future.
Roosegaarde is Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, Artist of the Year 2016 by Kunstweek and listed in the top of Sustainable Trouw 100 as most influential Dutch green leader.
