Big bad Vlad: the demonisation of Russia

The barrage of scaremongering by the British press before the football World Cup, painted the hosts Russia as a tyrannical country unsafe for tourists and football fans alike. But the reality has been very different. Visitors have taken to social media to explain that they’ve found Russia and her people hospitable and friendly. This wasn’t what they were told to expect. So was this media onslaught just a mistake? Or was this the latest instalment of post Cold War rhetoric designed to malign Russia? With relations between the West and Russia at an all time low, where next for this relationship? Joining us to discuss why both sides are locked in this frozen conflict is the writer and broadcaster, John White.

He died for our debts, not our sins

As we turn towards our faiths this Christmas and Hanukkah in an attempt to make sense of the year that was, economist Professor Michael Hudson says we have been interpreting the bible incorrectly. And he has written an entire book about it. Rather than sex and sin, both Christianity and Judaism is preoccupied with debt. As it turns out, Jesus was a socialist activist who paid the ultimate price, fighting for the reinstatement of regular debt jubilees. In fact, the rulers of classical antiquity who cancelled their subjects’ debts were overthrown with disturbing frequency and tended not to live that long…

John McCain & the Liberty Medal: history just rang a bell

On 16th October the world received a clear signal of what is valued by the ruling elites of the United States – John McCain was awarded the 2017 Liberty Medal at the National Constitution Centre. Whatever John McCain received that medal for – it was not ‘liberty’.  History doesn’t actually ring a bell, but it does provide signals of what is to come. John McCain’s medal represents the hijacking of liberty to justify tyranny.

What happened

Hillary Clinton’s denial tour of America demonstrates she still hasn’t learned the key lesson of the election. Her book is a series of specious arguments for the dim-witted, filled to the brim with excuses and lies that embodies Washington’s pay-to-play swamp culture. This is precisely why nothing ever gets done in DC —politicians get paid off and everyone else gets screwed.

#FakeData: Deciphering the swamp’s unemployment deception

We need an open investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails, the entire ‘fake news’ Russian collusion affair and James Comey’s fake FBI investigation,  and not for the reasons you think. Congress has failed to take responsibility for its bevy of problems; and its unshining example has corrupted all our other national institutions. Partisan bickering and political spin is simply a diversion from the action that American people deserve — and the truth that the American people require.
